FAQ

No songs are playing

Songster requires access to Apple Music previews. Make sure you have an internet connection. Song previews work without an Apple Music subscription — they use the free iTunes preview clips.

The app asked for Apple Music permission

Songster uses Apple's MusicKit to search for songs and play previews. We never access your personal library or listening history. You can grant or revoke this permission in Settings → Songster.

My challenge link isn't working

Make sure the recipient has Songster installed. If they don't have the app, the link will open a web page where they can download it from the App Store.

Game Center isn't connecting

Make sure you're signed into Game Center in Settings → Game Center. Songster uses Game Center for leaderboards and achievements.

Same-year songs — which order is correct?

If two songs were released in the same year, placing either one before or after the other is accepted as correct. You won't be penalised for the order of same-year songs.
